CHLL firmly believes that each child who wishes to play baseball should be entitled to do so regardless of skill, gender, or financial circumstances. Our league will not deny any child a chance to play baseball due to a financial hardship. To aid families who may need assistance with registration fees, CHLL has developed a scholarship program that covers the following areas:

Full scholarships that cover all registration fees and uniform or partial scholarship fees that cover part of the cost of registration and/or uniforms.

 Those seeking a scholarship must explain the nature of the hardship and/or provide documentation supporting the request. Specifically, to be eligible for any scholarship, you must fill out and return to the President, an application either via email or USPS. This is confidential information for the President and Treasurer only.

Before submitting an application for a scholarship, parents and/or legal guardians should be aware of the following:

• Any scholarship awarded will  require “re-payment” to the league via volunteer hours to be served by the family.
• Forms need to be completed and submitted to the President and/or Treasurer
• The scholarship review period can take up to 7 days.
• If scholarship is approved, it covers only the season in which it was applied for.
• The player must meet all residence and proof of age requirements and have required forms completed before Opening Day.
