Frequently Asked Questions
  • Difference Between CP and Farm: Coach Pitch/Rookie will have the coach pitch the entire at-bat. Farm will allow for players to pitch to other players at-bat.
  • When will Evaluations be held?: All players league age 7 and up must attend half of the scheduled evaluations. Evaluations will be scheduled for the beginning of January. Please watch for emails updates on times and locations.
  • When will Practices begin?: Practices typically start in February. They begin once teams have been formed, evaluations are completed and all registration forms are submitted. Your Manager will determine exact days and times.
  • When do Games begin?: Games typically start in March. However, it depends on when the master schedule has been completed with all teams we inter-league with.
  • When is Parent Night?: Parent Night is tentatively scheduled in January. Please watch for emails and updates on our website. This season we will also have Division Team Meetings to help answer all questions!
  • What are Division Team Meetings?: This season we will meet with each Division separately to answer more specific questions to help ensure the best possible season for everyone.
  • When is Opening Day?: Opening Day Spring 2023 is currently scheduled for March 11th Saturday - All dates are subject to change.
  • How do I get Updates & Information?: We frequently send email updated and post updates on our league Facebook page Citrus Heights Little League-CHLL. You can also check our League Website CitrusHeightsLL.com
  • What are the Leagues Boundaries?: League boundary information is located on our website under the "About Us" tab. If you do not live within our boundary area, you can still sign up if you attend school within our area.
  • Are Volunteer hours required?: YES! We require approx.10 hours per player; this can vary depending on how many players are on a team. There are many ways to fulfill your volunteer hours, please see our FAQ page for more info!
  • Where will Games held?: Depending on your division, CHLL HOME games/practices are held at Madera Park, McDonald Field, Rusch Park (Garsh Field). Please see our "Locations" page for more info.
  • What does the Registration Fee include?: The registration fee covers costs for uniforms (jersey and hat), park fees (for all parks), insurance (for players at all locations), district fees, field/equipment maintenance, umpire fees and more.
  • Can I get refunded once a season starts?: Once player(s) have been placed on a team, there are NO REFUNDS. At that point, fees have been paid to necessary parties and cannot be reimbursed. Questions? Contact Treasurer@CitrusHeightsLL.com
  • What Forms are Required to Register?: You must complete and upload ALL registration documents before your player can step on the field. Please see our FAQ page for specific documents needed and more information on what is required.
  • How do I submit Registration Forms?: You will need to print, complete, scan and upload forms to complete your Registration. Or you can email them to PlayerAgent@CitrusHeightsLL.com if you have any trouble.
  • How do I sign up to Volunteer?: TeamSidelines account => from User Site Map => Order Link=> Add on Items=> Select yourself, volunteer, fill out blanks => add enrollment=> proceed to check out => Agreement box=> done=> place order
  • What Volunteer Positions are available?: Volunteers are always needed! Manager, Assistant Coach, Scorekeeper, Team Rep., Umpire, Snack Bar, Field Maintenance, Board Member, etc. Please see "how to" in question above, or see our FAQ page.
